Las Vegas, January 7, 2008 - KINYO under the brand name “ARTDIO” is pleased to be introducing two Universal Docking Stations for iPods and iPhones.

Model DV-500 serves as a base for charging iPhones and iPods. It also can be used for synchronizing and data transferring functions.

Model BT-500 is also a Universal Docking Station for iPhones and iPod but features Bluetooth Wireless Technology as an additional connectivity option.

Compatibility with iPhone and iPod

The Universal docking stations BT-500 and DV-500 work with iPhones and iPods that have docking connectors. This includes the latest 3rd generation iPod nano, iPod classic and iPod touch. Connect by using the interchangeable inserts called Docking Adapters that come with your iPod. Simply insert the Docking Adapter of your iPod model and plug your iPod into the docking station. If you want to connect another iPod just remove the Docking Adapter and insert the new one.

Connectivity Options

The DV-500 & BT-500 offer various connectivity options for ease and convenience. You may connect the docking station to any speaker system through a standard 3.5mm stereo input jack. Then just turn on the docking station with your docked iPhone or iPod, sit back and enjoy the music. The docking station works twofold, one with the audio source, and two with the video source through the S–video output. Choose your favorite music video or photo slideshow and watch them on your big screen TV. While connected to your computer you are able to transfer videos and music with your docked iPod.

DV-500 Universal Docking Station for iPod

The DV-500 Universal Docking Station front panel offers the play/pause function, volume control and previous/ next buttons. There is also an easy to use remote control where you can adjust volume, go to the previous or next track and control the music settings on your iPod.

The DV-500 package includes an AC adapter, the remote control, a 3.5mm stereo input cable and a USB cable. The unit dimensions are W3.66” x H1.18” x D4.96”. MSRP $49.95.

BT-500 Universal Docking Station for iPod with Bluetooth Wireless Technology

The BT-500 and DV-500 have similarities in functions and settings. Both offer connectivity to stereos and TV’s from either an iPhone or iPods. KINYO presenting the high end Universal Docking Station for iPod, BT-500 additionally utilizes Bluetooth wireless technology.

The BT-500 is compliant with Bluetooth version 1.2 and support class 2 radio. It supports Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).

Features comprise of an easy Bluetooth pairing process with no other installation needed. Connect the BT-500 to any speaker system through the standard 3.5mm stereo input jack and pair it up with a cell phone, MP3 player, portable media player, PC or laptop containing Bluetooth A2DP. Once the simple pairing process is complete you can stream music from the audio source to your speaker system enjoying quality stereo music from up to 33 feet in open space. No more messy wires.
