Established
in 1979, the founders of Kinyo, Chwen Ho
Chung Co., Ltd., took advantage of a simple
but functional product concept based on
the rising popularity of VCRs and the escalating
demand of VCR maintenance products in the
70’s and 80’s. The videotape
rewinder turned out to be the foundation
of a multi-million dollar business.
Starting from the early stages of the rewinder
development, Kinyo’s R&D team
has been striving to innovate product development
and improve the production process. The
result was the introduction of a rewinding
system that was by far more superior in
performance, reliability and overall quality
than those available in the market. Furthermore,
the newly developed production process dramatically
increased production efficiency and productivity.
Strict implementation of the AQL quality
assurance program has made Kinyo one of
the most efficient manufacturers in the
industry and has allowed Kinyo to maintain
the lowest defective rates.
Kinyo set the quality standard for the industry
and continues to manufacture its products
to meet all UL, CSA and CE specifications.
In 1997, Kinyo’s factory was certified
by the stringent standards of ISO-9002.
In addition to marketing its own brand name
products, Kinyo has successfully created
alliances with various major OEM business
partners including electronic industry leaders
such as:
Thomson (RCA), White Westinghouse,
Zenith, Maxell & Walgreen.
In 1995, Kinyo took another leap by introducing
a complete line of multimedia speaker systems.
The Kinyo multimedia speakers have received
high praises for their design, quality and
value. As the prime manufacturer of its
speaker products, Kinyo has the capability
of addressing specific needs of its diverse
customer base. From high volume OEM/ODM
accounts such as:
HP, Dell Computers, Creative Labs,
eMachines, Sony, Samsung, TEAC, LG &
KOSS…etc.
To low volume system integrators, mass merchants
of small retailers, Kinyo is able to sell
speakers in a wide range of price and performance.
Moreover, Kinyo will work with other computer
and kit manufacturers in bundling product
to meet specifications and price points
necessary for the total package.
In 2000, Kinyo has moved into the Computer
and Video Gaming market with the introduction
of the Game Zone 4.1 & 5.1 Surround
Sound System designed to be used with: Xbox,
PSone & PS2, Game Cube, Nitendo64, portable
CD players, MP3 players, Mini Disc players
and PC/Mac computers.
In
2006, Kinyo enters the rapidly expanding
market for portable audio devices, by introducing
a new line of audio docking systems for
iPod®, PSP™, VoIP speakers and
other accessories. We experience an increasing
success with the new line of portable audio
devices and look forward to introduce additional
innovative products in the future.
At Kinyo, we take great pride in our accomplishments
and we are committed to providing the highest
quality products and the best customer service
in the industry. |
